Arctic Lights New single ‘Fade Away featuring Cat Dowling’
On 1st April, Arctic Lights will be releasing their first collaboration with renowned artist Cat Dowling. Lauded as one of the most wonderful and evocative vocalists in Irish contemporary music, Cat Dowling's beautifully husky and achingly intimate vocals will grip you from the outset.
Arctic Lights new track ‘Fade Away’ offers an unflinching look into the darkest depths of the broken soul, exploring the feeling that somehow we don't belong in this world. The track has a true dark energy that paradoxically feels surprisingly uplifting.
The song manifests with a pumping, booming bass-line that covers the aggressive experimental rhythm section like a warm blanket, allowing vocalists Cat and Liam work their unrehearsed inspired and original chemistry. Formed in 2021, Arctic Lights consisting of Liam O Callaghan and Edward Butt from Cork, Ireland, are now releasing their 8th single. This exciting duo have made quite an impression on the music scene since releasing their debut single ‘King of America’ in Jan 2021.
They have been consistently releasing music ever since, gaining a rapidly increasing fanbase and ever expanding following on social media and streaming platforms such as Spotify and Bandcamp.
Their music has been played on various radio stations from every continent across the globe, from America and Asia to Africa and Australia and of course Europe.
All music, production, mastering and artwork is created inhouse, making this act an incredibly innovative and versatile force.
Even though Arctic Lights are barely a year in existence you get the feeling that this is only the beginning of an unbelievably exciting voyage of discovery which can only grow from strength-to-strength with each new release.
